Add a device
Works the same for Windows and Mac. Generate a code, pick the platform, install.
- Download the installer below and double-click it. Click Yes on the Windows prompt.
- Paste your code when the installer asks, and click Next. That's it — no typing, nothing technical.
- Download the installer (.pkg) below.
- Right-click it → Open → Open (the first time, this clears macOS's "unidentified developer" prompt), then continue through the installer.
- Paste your code in the box the installer shows, and click Continue. Done.
Installing apps on a Mac uses Homebrew (installed automatically the first time it's needed).
Once it's set up, the device shows as online in "Your devices" above within a few seconds. Re-running the installer on a device that already has the agent safely updates it to the latest version.
